Cosette

This is Cosette.  She's three years old.  I've had her since she was 10 weeks old, straight from the breeder.  Both parents are AKC-registered and her father competes in show & field trials.  She's an incredibly strong swimmer with wonderful instincts.  Cosette is amazing.  She is, of course, awesome at finding used knee-high hose and swallowing them, resulting in some odd moments in our front yard.  She also likes to make appearances in suitcases.  I just think it's her way of telling me not to leave on another trip.  And I almost don't when she gives me those big Lab eyes.

Trooper

This is Trooper.  He was born on January 22, 2009.  We picked him up from the breeder when he was 8.5 weeks old.  Trooper is Cosette's nephew.  Cosette's older sister (AKC-registered) from a previous litter (same mother/father) was bred in the fall of 2008 with an AKC-registered field trial chocolate Labrador.  The father is currently competing in Canada.

Here is pictured (below) at 1 year, 2 months in March 2010.

We've been in private training classes with him with a police dog trainer in our area.  He's beautiful, unafraid, and loves the water almost as much as Cosette does.
